Depending on your Iron Starlette, you might need to bring another pet with strong attacks. For example a Darkmoon Tonk (Ion Cannon) or a strider (2x Pump) or any pet with Surge of Power.

The amount the level pet takes is random and from Undead damage. I've seen it go as high as 943 damage before but I used to have it set to 616 and only lost the level pet once (and it had already entered so just got half xp)

Forcing a complete rewrite of the strategy due to the SL patch, this is probably not the most elegant strategy out there. But it has worked flawlessly through 20+ matches, which is something :)

If you have less than 469 hp before Turn 5, use Life Exchange early, then continue with Arcane Blast.

Level 25 rare with Pump should be able to solo him with some crits. Bring another level 25 Pump pet as a backup.

I added a Breath to the MPD 1st attack, and that seems to work now. Allowing Stiches to start his Stampede before the Explode. (edited)

This strat does have a slight chance to fail if Feline gets crit hard, failed about 3 times for me in over 100 attempts.
Not sure what the extra attack at the start does but it may mean feline comes in a bit later and actually get hit by a harder hitting move
A funny thing I have noticed; when you get a bad run it seems to keep happening :p it might just be random but I swear I have been hit by 25% chance items 5 times in a row then never get hit by it for ages :p

MPD should die with explode
Your level pet is only taking AOE damage but is possible to die, though I have set the damage threshold quite high.
Feline familiar takes 2 hits but are quite hard but their max ranage when I did my testing were well within it's HP. My guess is 2 max crits could send you in.
Next time I am there I will check BUT in the future when a strat fails and they are someone who makes quite a few strats, please presume that they have done their due diligence and check what went wrong so you can report back. :)
I'm not fallible from making mistakes but I am at over 100 wins with this strat personally.
