Because Chrominius will kill it faster when it comes in. You can Evanescence if you want, but I found that letting the Sprite Darter die shaves a couple rounds off the fight.

My S/S Sprite Darter Hatchling solo'd the whole fight. I only got one lucky crit on turn 4 or 5 with arcane blast xD

Nether Faerie Dragon works in place of the much rarer Sprite Darter Hatchling.

My NFD actually soloed the whole thing thanks to a couple lucky crits!
