H/S silkbead snail doesnt live very long. i wiped twice in a row today. second attempt wasn't even close. using the script, Explode went off when Farnak was above 618 HP. switched to H/P shimershale and it worked.

Meh. This one works fine. I used it from Mists until fairly recently.

If you actually have evidence of somthing wrong, present it. Let's see some logs.

Having said that, Breed is a factor in the success rate. B/B and H/S breeds will be weaker here. Personally I'd recommend a H/P Shimmerscale or Mudshell Conch.

This strat has continued to work ok for me. Even with H/S Silkbead Snail. That said, it did fail first try this morning when Sludgy turn 1 crit w/ expunge, killing my snail. But I expect many strats will fail when enemy gets a crit on a high damage ability...

There are definite breed issues with this fight. An H/S Silkbead Snail, for example, is TERRIBLE. My win rate with that type and breed is less than 50% (often the Fail Safe goes off on Zeppelin due to the ooze's DoTs which makes the rat screw up your explosion). All this happens because the Snail takes too long to kill the Spirit and usually gets 1 attack on the ooze, plus its health pool is lower than a lot of other snails.

Here is a new TD script I wrote for the fight using a Rabbit and MPD since I keep seeing people say they have unfavorable results with the other script. Hopefully this is a bit easier to read and a bit more foolproof not relying on very specific rounds i.e. use(ability) [round = #] with the exception of the first two burrows since there is no enemy buffs to base when to use an ability off of. If anyone has any suggestions or corrections feel free to let me know. This has only been tested a handful of times.

Noblegarden Bunny is better than Dust Bunny, thanks to more Power, and makes the fight easier! (strategy doesnt change)

Tested several times, and it is super easy with Noblegarden Bunny and Darkmoon Zeppelin.

But if u dont have Noblegarden Bunny it is still fine, any Rabbit/Bunny with speed higher than 334 and Flurry + Dodge + Burrow works.

2 weeks later- didnt lose even once (0 RNG involved)

So playing around with the snail breeds today and it seems blizz added a mechanic the detect a H/* (any health breed) snail and adjusts the damage to scale and kill the snail early. i swapped back to a B/B snail and it worked more than flawlessly..in fact the snail lasted 2 to 3 rounds longer than a H/any breed. Tested this multiple times and have been using the B/B breed snail for a year now without issues. just thought i'd let rematch lead the string on the site and it started failing.

I've actually been having the best success regardless of RNG using Scooter the Snail.
I have found with testing the various breeds of snails that the Darkmoon Zeppelin can solo Sludgy and Darnak.
Most breeds of snails seem lucky to get 2 hits in on Sludgy before dying and sometimes none at all... so whatever they changed really has made this fight more RNG
