It quits on round 4 if you get bad rng, per the author's comment; just heal and try again.

4x, Gloamwing still alive with 14-45ish HP. RNG is not fun on this one!

After multiple attempts, I couldn't get this strat to work. Used this instead from wowhead and it worked first time.

Tried twice worked twice but I think is a bit risky
I used
Xu Fu 1,2,2 (or any pet actually)
Elder Python 2,1,1 (or any pet with 2 diff long DoT's)
Zandalari Kneebiter 2,2,2 (needs over 300 speed) (or any pet over 300 with hunting party and black claw)

So started with Xu fu
get swapped to python, use 1 poison, use other poison, die
kneebiter comes in and use black claw and then hunting party

This strategy absolutely does not work without insane luck. Not only can he kill Xu-Fu before Moonfire, but he often kills your feline familiar before your second Onyx Bite. Even if none of those things happen, you still have to get several crits in to have any chance at winning. I've failed 10 times now and my warpstalker just can't finish him off. The closest I've managed is getting him down to 24.
