Low XP
Breed
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
RNG
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
Script
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!
A Strategy Curator found this strategy to be especially helpful and higlighted it with this tag to give it more exposure.
In Dragonflight Patch 10.2, the ability Time Bomb has been changed. This tag is marking strategies using Time Bomb so they can be reviewed.

same for me. I used a p/b squirrel, p/s blighthawk, and h/h ghostly skull

Callia wrote on 2020-07-17 15:30:12

I don't have a leveled up spectral spinner or a Blighted Squirrel (infected yes, blighted no) so I was trying to find ways to improvise and adjust this strategy to work. I tried tossing the fragment of anger in there as a starter and my skull just didn't survive long enough.

Finally I invented a new strategy that involves the Unborn Val'kyr, Son of Sethe and Bone Serpent. The Bone serpent replaces the blighthawke because it has stronger flying moves to take out the 2nd shark. Val'kyr + Son of Sethe work together on the 1st and 3rd sharks. Basically you use the Doom/Haunt combo to start, then use the Son of Sethe's crazy plague healing to live through the first encounter, then Bone Serpent pounds the 2nd shark to death with Bone Barrage/Lift-off/Nocturnal Strike. You try to keep Bone Barrage up after bone serpent is dead so it keeps hitting the 3rd shark (you want son of sethe to be the last man standing) By the time you get to the 3rd shark doom and animus are off cooldown so you can use the same strategy as for the first shark.

I had to go to the Plaguelands to get an HH Blighthawk (had 2, wrong type, and none on AH--hint, hint) and to Silverpine Forest to get the right Squirrel (same situation as above. Seriously, there's money to be made here. =D ) Once I had them, got it in one try. whew. Tried soooo many other strats, but as everyone says, the Underwater RNG gods are devilish. Nice strat, thank you.

I managed to get this working, how I don't know. My Ghostly Skull was suppose to die, I did Ghostly Bite Maws Jr hit me first and somehow my Ghostly Bite went off and I Won the fight.

TDScript that actually works - bear in mind, this is for an HB Ghostly Skull, the 'enemy.hp<619' conditional at the bottom will need adjusting for different breeds:

ability(Crouch:165) [ round=2 ]
ability(Stampede:163) [ round!~1,6 ]
ability(Lift-Off:170) [ enemy(#2).active & !enemy.aura(Shattered Defenses:542).exists ]

I replaced "Ghostly Skull" with "Son of Sethe" because I'd always end in a tie and not get credit.
Son of Sethe used Plagued Blood, Touch of the Animus & Drain Blood and I won with the following rotation:
Drain Blood
Touch of the Animus
Plagued Blood
Plagued Blood

This fight is so RNG that I spent 2 hours trying and didn't win once before giving up after using all of my remaining pet battle bandages. Not worth the effort, and this strategy relies on them never critting.

kickascii wrote on 2019-03-02 19:09:28

I did this with Blightbreath, Bligthhawk, Ghostly skull. Toxic fumes until first pet dies, stun 2nd aquatic pet so 3rd pet (beast) comes in, and get 1 more toxic fumes off. Kill that beast pet with ghostly skull (slash) and get ghostly strike off on undead turn. Last fight is Blighthawk vs. his aquatic, with consume corpse + slicing wind.

wrote on 2019-03-02 01:56:55

This worked for me on the first attempt but I had to modify it somewhat. I don't have a ghostly skull at level 25 so I used an HH Unborn Val'kyr (11*) instead in the 3rd spot.

Bruce did not open with Bash. My blighthawk's first lift-off got bashed, however, so I just passed and tried again - the steps caught up with the guide at that point.

When my Val'kyr came out, I cast Siphon Life once and then just Shadow Slashed until Maws Jr. died. I died during my undead phase so if the fight had lasted longer this would not have worked, so YMMV. At least it worked though. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Blighthawk: the lift-off never killed Bruce. Not even once. If your strategy relies on this much RNG on the side of the user, then it's no good. In the ten tries I did I did not once get to the last pet.

You most likely used a certain breed in your strategy, but did not mention it here. You should definitely rework the strategy (and test it again, several times, with your own pets).

I have tried over 30 times nothing. I have tried all stats posted RNG gods are so nasty. I have gone thru 70 bandages between undead and elemental for these sharks and leveled 3 pets and still nothing. I think I am going to wait and hope for a nerf.
