Substitutes:

1
Note: You have selected a substitute pet.
The strategy might fail if you use it with this pet instead of the one the strategy creator intended.

The substitute finder looks for these criteria in relation to the original pet:
  • Same family
  • Has the required skills
  • Has the required stats (if specified)
  • Ignores specific breed requirements for the main pet, as breeds can be very different for substitutes

I thought the Teroclaw was supposed to be nerfed....

Low XP
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
Level 1+
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
Script
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!
A Strategy Curator found this strategy to be especially helpful and higlighted it with this tag to give it more exposure.
In Dragonflight Patch 10.2, the ability Time Bomb has been changed. This tag is marking strategies using Time Bomb so they can be reviewed.

My only recommendation would be to use Ravage on Atherton when 1 Ravage will kill him, because I came up on an iteration where I could have been Blinded before Ravage could kill him, meaning I wouldn't have gotten the heal. I don't know how it would have played out in the long run if I hadn't gotten the heal, or if it would have even mattered. It would just mean you'd have to do more Flybys on the Zepp, I imagine. *shrugs*

The Cogblade/Siege Tower has been my 'go-to' for this for so long, I forgot this one was still here.
You must have a lot of time on your hands. =P

Iron Starlette (with Explode) is another option to replace second pet.

Think the instructions should just say use Teroclaw until Jennings is below 619 then let it die to bring in the Zepp to explode, no reason to leave it to chance because my Zepp was getting wrecked by Jennings. My 2 polished pet charms.

It doesn't say that because Alpha Strike critting could kill Jennings and nullify the point of bringing a carry pet.

Thanks for the feedback. Pet changed to Dark Zep but using Flyby instead of Missile as the latter has a nasty tendency to crit and ruin the levelling aspect of the strat.
TDScript updated to reflect changes and take some minor considerations into account.

Ananda wrote on 2018-09-07 05:59:51

This works so long as you take note of the Dodge & Ravage instructions.
The first time I failed because the only L25 spore I had was Seaborne and it didn't stay alive long enough to explode. The second time I had no problem - I used my Darkmoon Zep as it had 1548 hp (not as many as the spore) but missile is good against beasts so it stayed alive long enough to explode. Knockoff Bling would've been my other choice if the Zep hadn't worked.

This strategy consistently failed, using the pets and breeds recommended, and using the provided TD Script.
